R -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR FINANCIAL AND OPERATIONAL SERVICES PREPARATORY TO ISSUANCE OF PROSPECTUSES FOR CONCESSIONS CONTRACTS OR APPROVAL OF SALE OR TRANSFER OF OPERATIONS SOL 1443-CX-2000-96-015 POC Marlene R. Haussler, 303/969-2046 The National Park Service (NPS), through its National Concessions Program Center (CPC), is seeking an organization to provide various financial and operational analysis services preparatory/following the issuance of prospectusesfor concessions contracts or approval of sale or transfer of concession operations within various areas of the National Park Service. The function of the consultant will be to 1) review NPS staff work on the proposed contract, along with concession and planning documents, and 2) make recommendations, withinthe parameters listed below, which will improve the terms of the contract to theGovernment while providing a reasonable opportunity for profit to the concessioner, and/or improve service to the visitor. The NPS will award an indefinite quantity contract to the successful offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, cost and other factors considered. Individual task orders will be placed to order services whenthey are required. The total of all task orders per year will not exceed $400,000 and each task order will not exceed $125,000. The selected firm is guaranteed a minimum amount of $40,000 during the life of the contract. The termof the contract shall be one year with four additional one-year options. This procurement is set aside for small business concerns. The SIC code used for thisprocurement is 8721. To the fullest extent, the NPS welcomes the participation of women and minority-owned and operated firms.
