The Directorate of Contracting, Presidio of Monterey, CA proposes to contract with a government agency located in Monterey County for certain public works and other municipal services at both the Presidio of Monterey (POM) and the Presidio of Monterey Annex (portions of the former Fort Ord, retained by the Army). This is in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1995, as amended, which authorized the award of such a contract as a demonstration project at any DoD asset in Monterey County, CA. Such services could include the following: Maintenance of: Natural Gas Distribution System (POM only); Water Distribution System (POM only); Waste Water Collection System (POM only); Storm Water Collection System (POM only); Electrical Distribution System (POM only), Street Maintenance and Repair, Custodial Services, Fire Alarms, Elevator Maintenance, Pest Control, Refuse Collection (POM Annex only), Grounds Maintenance, Urban Forestry, and Fencing Repair and Maintenance.
