219-8706. PY'93 Female Dormitory and Building Rehabilitation at the
Cass Civilian Conservation Center in Ozark, Arkansas. The work to be
performed under this project involves the following items: A. Construct
a new water line from existing water tanks to the new dormitory area.
B. Construct a new Female Dormitory containing approximately 26,975 GSF
and includes 36 sleeping rooms with bathrooms and support areas for
advisors, laundry, lounges, and studies. The dormitory is a slab on
grade building with a brick and block shell, masonry interior
partitions, wood roof trusses, shingle roofing, finishes, mechanical,
electrical, and plumbing, sitework, utilities, and landscaping.
Rehabilitation of building No.51 consisting of interior demolition,
drywall partions and ceilings, foundation and roof framing revisions,
mechanical, electrical and plumbing. Both projects include doors and
windows, frames, hardware, toilet fixtures and accessories, millwork,
casework, and cleaning. The estimated construction cost range is
$1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The estimated completion time is 390 calender
days. Plans and Specifications will be available on July 15, 1996, from
the office of the Architect/Engineer, McGowan Anderson Hunter Griffin
Architecture, 302 North 6th Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901, contact

project. Collect calls will not be accepted. It is emphasized that
requests for plans and specifications shall be directed to the A/E firm
listed above to ensure proper handling of requests. Requests will be
answered on a first-come, first-serve basis until supplies are
exhausted. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the
Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is
warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed the actual cost of
duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD charges. A pre-bid walk-thru
is scheduled July 30, 1996, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Bid-opening date
is August 20, 1996, at 2:00 p.m. local time. This is a 100% Small
Business Set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classfication (SIC) is
