Contracting Division, 918-669-7275 This work consists of enlarging Fry
Creeks 1 and 2, combining the two creeks, and then diverting them into
the Arkansas River in Bixby, Oklahoma. The work includes clearing and
grubbing, common excavation of approximately 1,914,185 cubic yards,
construction of earthen berms, construction of 4.34 miles of grass
lined channel with riprap protection for the lower side slopes in the
upper reaches of both channels, construction of three tributaries to
Fry Creeks 1 and 2 with three drop structures and channel drop inlets
and headwalls. Construction will also include relocation of utilities
and concrete slope walls at Memorial Drive bridge and Fry Creek 1.
Tulsa County will construct three bridges at 121st and 131st streets
and Fry Creeks 1 and 2. Estimated cost range of this project is over
$10,000,000. An advanced non-refundable fee of $62.00 (half size) and
$123.00 (full size) is required for each set of specifications. Make
check payable to F & A Officer, USAED, Tulsa and mail to the attention
of Contracting Division. Payment must be received prior to issuance of
plans and specifications. Plans and specifications will be available on
or about 15 July 1996. No phone calls to order please. All orders will
