This is an Procurement Notice: Synopsis No. Z-96001: The solicitation is subject to evaluation criteria set forth in DFAR 252.219-7008 - ''Notice of Evaluation Preference for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns - Construction Acquisitions - Test Program(APR 1996).'' The work includes the removal of existing environmental test chamber and associated equipment, the design and construction of a new environmental chamber with associated equipment, a personnel lift, a mechanical room addition and repairs to the existing hydro-environmental simulator and associated equipment. Connections to Base utilities is included. Demolition and removal of hazardous materials within the building, including asbestos, lead containing paint and PCB containing equipment and materials is required. Repair of materials and equipment, including turf, walkways and paved areas, damaged during construction operations is included in this work. Specialized Environmental Chamber design and installation experience will be required. The Pre-Award Survey will include the requirement for proof of Environmental Chamber experience.
