(Site Code DAKF57) Principal items to accomplish: Supply and place traffic barricades as necessary for completion of work; Thoroughly clean and prepare parking lot asphalt surfaces with power sweeper prior to application of any asphalt emulsion; Apply asphalt based emulsion in combination with fiber, mineral fillers and additives as found in MasterSeal Asphalt Base Sealer or approved equal. Emulsion seal shall be applied to a thickness which will cover visibility of all existing striping and shall cover all parking lot asphalt surfaces uniformly and in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. Area to be covered shall end at stop bars located at exits to parking lots. Total combined area of parking lots is 25,750 square yards; Apply parking lot striping after emulsion coating has been applied. Paint/striping shall be applied to emulsion coating in accordance with coating and paint manufacturer's recommendations. Paint shall be an industry standard which meets all state and environmental standards and is white in color, such as Norline, or approved equal. Total combined length of striping required for parking lots is 29,000 linear feet. Estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Completion time is 30 calendar days.
