Work is to include the replacement of two 3500 pound capacity units with car sizes of 7'x 4'9''. Each unit is to be an executive style. The work shall be performed by a commercial elevator installation/maintenance contractor who has a minimum of five years experience in elevator installations. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable DMA, EPA, NFPA and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 180 days. Each elevator is to be replaced separately while having the other in operation. The contractor may be required to perform a certain amount of extended or multi shift work to maintain this project's performance period. The approximate cost range is $250,000 and $500,000. The work shall be performed at Defense Mapping Agency located at 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, MO.
