The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Scott AFB, IL, will procure the following hardware to support the Central Distribution Center located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH: Copy of Software License, 3480/90 18 Track Tape Drive W/ ACL & IDRC & 10 Cartridge Autoloader, Cable & Cleaning Tape, 4x CDR, 6x CD ROM Drive SCSI 2, 145MS, 900KB Transfer, 256KB Buffer, 3.5 Disc Duplicator, 3490E 36 Track Tape Drive w/ACL & IDRC & 10 Cartridge Autoloader, Cable, and Cleaning Tape, PCI SCSI Control Kits, SCSI Controller for PCI Bus Computers, Set Up and Test Customers PC, Installation and Training, Shipping, Miscellaneous, and PCs. The projected equipment configuration must be able to: a) initialize, copy, do quality checks, verify, stacker (auto loader) for unattended operation, b) be IDRC capable c)provide reports on system utilization, d) be able to be expanded if future requirements mandate it, e)be upgradable and compatible with the new 3590 MAGSTARS (IBMs new tape drive) Future Tape Formal Implementation, f) Complete system configuration or personal computer (PC) specifications for Government furnished equipment (is so selected), g) On- site maintenance provided, h) Training provided for up to 6 people. Remedial training provided, if needed, at no cost, i) Produce external tape labels, j) Produce bar code labels, desired, and k) CD reader and recorder.
