93 -- REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT FOR NEWSPRINT Sol F62562-96-R0133 due 071596. Contract Buyer, Mr. Yano or Contracting Officer, SSgt Mize, 011-81-425-52-3011 (CP) or 011-81-425-53-7786 (Fax). This is a nonappropriated funds (NAF) purchase and does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. The subject request for proposal (RFP) will be released on or about 15 Jul 96. All sources responding to this RFP are requested to submit sample newsprint paper for the following two (2) year requirements: Two (2) sizes of newsprint paper, offset, blue/white, standard 28 pounds weight publication grade. Brightness 58-62, used on Goss Webb Offset Press (Suburban and Urbanite models). Quantity required are 160 metric tons for sizes 40 in dia, 15 inch wide and 3 inch disposal core, and 3,300 metric tons for sizes 40 inch dia, 30 inch wide and 3 inch disposal core. Basic weight for newsprint paper is 28 pounds consists with (a) the standard ream quantity is 5,000 sheets and (b) sizes are 24 inch x 36 inch (3,000 sqft). Delivery Order will be issued based on the terms and conditions of the contract. Delivery F.o.b. Origin-Contractor's facility. (170)
