The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington intends to negotiate a two party contract to the University of New Hampshire Family Research Laboratory, 126 Horton Social Science Center, Durham, NH 03824. The requirement is for the Bureau of Naval Personnel (BUPERS) Family Advocacy Program (FSP), Arlington, VA for a follow up study of post-disclosure outcomes for incestuous abusers. The study will utilize past and previous participants in the Navy FAP Incest Treatment Option Program. Past confidential information will be provided by the contractor from a previous study. The study will result in a comprehensive report describing all findings; as well as recommendations and guidelines in regards to offender prevention, intervention, and treatment strategies. The period of performance will be from date of award through December 31, 1996. There will be five options for a total of five years. The SIC Code is 8732. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competivie proposals. All proposals received by July 10, 1996 will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determing whether to conduct competitve procurement.
