The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for forklift truck maintenance services on Government-owned equipment. The BEP requires this service for approximately 32 forklifts currently used by the BEP employees at the Washington, D. C. and Lorton, Virginia warehouse facilities. The prospective contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, supervision, tools, and equipment required to properly maintain the forklift trucks. The period of performance will be for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. Interested firms must submit a written request for Solicitation Number BEP-96-23(TN) to the Department of Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, 14th and C Sts., S. W., Room 705-A, Washington, D. C., Attn: Freda McDonald. Requests must be submitted in writing; no telephone requests will be accepted. All written requests must state the firm's size status (i.e., Large, Small, Minority, or Women-Owned). Those previously requesting a copy of BEP-96-23(TA) need not submit a second request. The approximate issue date is July 19, 1996, and the approximate closing date is August 20, 1996. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency.
