S -- OFF-SITE STORAGE OF CLASSIFIED AND UNCLASSIFIED MAGNETIC MEDIA Sol IFB 96-15. Contact Contracting Officer Colleen Kosar (703)235-3288. The Contractor shall provide the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency (ACDA) with: (1) a Top Secret DISCO-cleared and ACDA-approved facility for storing ACDA materials saved on magnetic media; (2) means for escorted transportation of the materials between ACDA offices and the storage facility; and (3) appropriate security containers for transporting and storing those ACDA materials for which ACDA itself does not provide containers. All storage facilities, transport vehicles and escort personnel must be under direct control of the Contractor and shall not be subcontracted. The storage area must: (1) be located within 40 miles of the Washington, DC contiguous area; (2) meet all environmental conditions for the storage of magnetic media, including ferrous shielding against magnetic fields; and (3) be equipped with automatic fire extinguishing agent protection and a building-wide fire alarm system which automatically notifies appropriate municipal authorities of any threat of fire. There must be available a minimum of five Contractor employees to serve as escort couriers each possessing a Top Secret DISA personnel security clearance. The Contractor must provide at least two unmarked transport vehicles, one for normal use and the other for assistance in case of accident. The Contractor shall provide standard weekly pickup and delivery service as well as non-schedule and emergency pickup and delivery service. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The contract will be for a base year and four option years. The dollar estimate is between $40,000 and $50,000 per year. All requests for IFB 96-15 must be in writing. ACDA anticipates issuance of IFB 96-15 O/A July 15, 1996. Closing date will be 30 days after issuance. (172)
