Postal Service intends to issue a cost reimbursable design/build contract to design and construct a 35,000 square foot new construction USPS-owned Administrative Office Building at the Processing and Distribution Center, 10410 Perrin-Biethel Road, San Antonio, TX. The design/build entity will be responsible for furnishing manpower, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the project. Offerors will be required to submit both technical and price proposals. Technical submittals will require evidence of: (1) Construction Contractor; (2) Expedited Schedule; (3) Architect/Engineering Firm; (4) Staffing/Resources; (5) Project Team. Return date for the above project is July 30, 1996. Performance Time is 180 days. Estimated Cost Range is between $2,800,000 and $3,600,000.
