The work of this contract consists of the general construction of an addition to an existing maintenance building located within an administration and operations compound at Capitol Reef National Park, Utah, which is 10 miles east of Torrey, Utah in the south-central part of the state, off State Highway 24. The 48 x 97 foot addition shall be constructed using structural stress skin sandwich panels at exterior walls, premanufactured wood trusses and a slab-on-grade foundation system. The structure will support the functions of vehicle maintenance, carpentry shop and offices for the maintenance staff. The offices are expected to be a phased, development within the addition.
