Z -- INSTALL GENERATOR AT BLDG T-39 AND UPDATE ELECTRIC WIRING AT MECHANICAL ROOM SOL DAKF23-96-B-0074 DUE 090396 POC Contract Specialist Debbie Rapp (502) 798-7826 (Site Code DAKF23) Remove existing secondary lines, service drops and service entrances, etc. from existing Fire Station, Bldg 2575 to Bldg T-39. Modify existing substation at T-39 and install one 250kw 3ph 4w emergency generator, one (1) 800 amps transfer switch, one (1) 500 gl tank at above extended substation. Remove existing transfer switch, conduits, cables, brackets, as required. Provide a new pre-fabricated metal house with concrete pad to accommodate new transfer switch, generator, main distribution panel and 800 amps 3p 120/208 volts main circuit breaker complete. Install underground feeders in metal conduits from the pre-fabricated house to Mechanical Room, Bldg T-39. Update electrical installation at Mechanical Room in accordance with the requirements as per NEC, 1996. Remove existing switches, wirings, junction boxes, etc, and repair/replace electrical lines, distribution panels, switches as required. Remove existing 100kva pad mounted transformers three (3) at above substation and install new 167kva 1 ph transforms on existing concrete pad. Draw one service line for entire building, (in place of two existing service lines) and connect new feeders/circuits to new/existing panels, switches, junctions for lighting and power lines. Grounding bonding complete installation, testing all new/existing equipments as specified and as scheduled. Perform Load Analysis at Bldg 2575 and T-39, which shall be required to evaluate the capacity of new generator to be installed. Remove asbestos in equipment room and repair termite damage as needed. The period of performance is 90 calendar days. Forth coming contract will be firm-fixed price. The estimated range for this project is $100,000 to $250,000. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the ''Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988'' and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Therefore, this solicitation is Unrestricted. For the purpose of determining Small Business size, SIC 1731, for this acquisition the average annual receipts of a concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $7 million. This project is subject to the availability of funds. A copy may be obtained by submitting a non-refundable charge of $25.00 in the form of a money order, certified or cashier's check made payable to the Defense Accounting Office.
