This requirement is needed for the new pilot training mission for Fort Rucker, the Attack Helicopter Battalion training mission at Fort Hood, as well as active Army aircraft in such strategically important areas as Germany, the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg, and 101st at Fort Campbell. Requirement is needed to fill a Not Mission Capable Supply (NMCS) Requirement for the AH-64. Contractors who desire to be prequalified must submit documentation. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings, however, it is restricted to the following approved sources, McDonnell Douglas Helicopter, 5000 E. McDowell Road, Mesa, AZ and Apache Mfg Co, Highway 73, P O Box 58, Whiteriver, AZ 85941. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves to the Contracting Officer, and provide supporting evidence which will permit their participation in the current or future solicitations.
