Hughes Technical Center intends to purchase the following Hewlett Packard test equipment, in the quantities noted. Due to the necessity to guarantee system hardware-software integrity and compatibility, only the specific Hewlett Packard equipment identified herein can satisfy the FAA's requirement: Item 001 - HP8564E, Spectrum Analyzer (Qty. 1 ea); Item 002 - Option 001, IF Output (Qty. 1 ea); Item 003 - Option 005, Sweep Output (Qty. 1 ea); Item 004 - Option 006, Coverage to 30 HZ (Qty 1 ea); Item 005 - Option 007, Digitized Fast Sweep (Qty 1 ea); Item 006 - Option 008, Signal Identification (Qty 1 ea); Item 007 - Option 042, Carrying Case (Qty 1 ea); Item 008 - Option 910, User's Manual (Qty 1 ea); Item 009 - HP8449B Preamplifier (Qty 1 ea); and Item 010 - HP11867A RF Limiter (Qty 1 ea). Delivery of all items shall be required no later than 21 days after contract award. Hewlett Packard will be contacted directly to obtain a quote for all items. However, other parties may submit quotes to the address shown above, ''ATTN: ACT-131, N. Ballay.'' Offerors choosing to submit quotes based on established GSA contracts shall provide the applicable contract number. Quotes may also be faxed to the attention of N. Ballay at (609) 485-4088. All quotes must be received no later than 4:00pm, eastern time, July 9, 1996. Offerors are responsible for confirming that their complete quotation package is received by the established due date. The FAA intends to make a single award for all items to the responsive, responsible offeror submitting the lowest overall price considering all items.
