Existing aeromagnetic survey data in Northeastern Alaska. Salient characteristics: Approximately 14,000 line miles (22,500 line kilometers) of data are needed with north-south flight lines at intervals of approximately 1/2 mile (0.8 kilometers) and east- west lines at intervals of approximately 2 miles (3.2 kilometers). The survey should drape the topography at a height of approximately 500-1000 ft. (300 to 400 meters) (area dependent). The survey area is included within a polygon enclosed by the following coordinates: 70 degrees 11' N x 146 degrees 52.5' W; 70 degrees 11' N x 142 de- grees W; 69 degrees 47.5' N x 142 degrees W; 69 degrees 22.5' N x 144 degrees W; 69 degrees 22.5' N x 146 degrees 52.5' W. Quantity is 14,099 MI. Delivery is required within thirty (30) days from date of award. Based on information available at this time, and in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1, the Government considers the item specified as a sole source from World Geoscience, Inc., Houston, TX and proposes to negotiate a contract with that firm on that basis. However, should additional sources be identified, they will be considered. Firms who feel that they can furnish the required item or its functional equivalent (based upon the criteria specified herein) are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response to this announcement. An affirmative re- sponse would include literature, brochures and such other materials which correspond to the required items stated herein. This infor- mation will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. Since no solicitation document exists, re- quests for such documents without accompanying information will be considered non-responsive to this request without further consid- eration.
