The adjustment, however, is specific to HMR No. 52. The Wisconsin and Michigan (WMPMS) study method makes no adjustment to PMP based on departure from the preferred orientations. The proposed study will develop procedures to reduce PMP values when the PMP storm orientation is outside the recommended range. The study will specify reductions for the WMPMS study area, and the method developed will be applicable to other areas of the country. (0177)
