Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment for the demolition and removal of the existing timber craneway framework, including the spaced columns and glu-lam beam, crane rails, jacking and temporary support of the existing building columns to remain in place, sawcutting and removal of portions of the concrete floor slab, excavation of material around the existing column footings, demolition and removal of the existing concrete column pedistals, placement of new concrete pedestals, installation of the new steel craneway columns and beams including any appurtenances, installation of new crane rails, and all electrical work necessary for the replacement of the above mentioned items, and all incidential related work. Estimated price range: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Number of days in contract: 660. Number of bid items: One with one construction option with unit price schedule. The base bid shall be Building 313, Option 1 shall be Building 510. SIC Code 1791, Structural Steel Erection, $7.0 Million.
