This action originally publicized in the CBD on 5/14/96. The Bid
Opening date is changed to August 1, 1996 at 2:00 pm (EST). Plans and
Specifications will be available on/or about 1 July 1996. The following
is a corrected Description of Work: A) Provide; install and lease for
a nine (9) month period, two (2) 12' x 56' Modular Space Trailers, one
(1) 10' x 48' Modular Storage Trailer and five (5) 8' x 40' Storage
Containers. The contractor will be responsible for delivery, level,
steps, complete electrical hook-up and return of Modular Space Trailers
and Storage Trailers. Trailers shall be standard mobile office type
trailers with standard heating/air conditioning and 100 amp electrical
service. All accessories and service necessary to ready the trailers
for occupancy, by Government personnel, shall be provided and installed
by the contractor, except as noted. Plumbing hook-ups will not be
required. Trailers shall be located and electrically connected as shown
on the sketch included in the specifications. All electrical components
including a 75 KVA transformer, shall be provided and installed by the
contractor. At the end of the contract, the contractor shall remove
all salvageable components of the temporary electrical services to the
trailers and turn them over to the Government. Buried components shall
be disconnected and abandoned in place; B) Demolish and renovate the
Survival Equipment Shop in the East Leanto, including replacement of
the HVAC system; C) Demolition and renovation of shop areas on the
first floor of the West Leanto; D) Demolition and renovation of the
entire interior of the second floor of the West Leanto which consists
of administrative areas and the Photo Lab; E) Renovation of the
exteriors of the East and West Leanto's, including window replacement;
F) Installation of fire sprinklers throughout the first and second
floors of the East and West Leanto's; G) Installation of oil/water
separators on the North and South ends of Building 1905; H) Install and
hardware electrical power and communication cable for each workstation
after system furniture contractor has installed the systems. All other
