Provide all labor, material and equipment required for work to be performed at an occupied postal service-owned facility. Project includes but is not limited to furnishing all material, labor and equipment necessary for a Facility Upgrade at the Main Post Office, 13 Municipal Plaza, Bloomfield, NJ 07003-9998, as further described in plans and specifications. The work includes HVAC replacement, electrical upgrade, lighting, bathroom upgrade, lobby upgrade/bullet resistant screenline, panting, etc. Attendance is mandatory at the pre-proposal meeting and will be held at the site on Tuesday, July 9, 1996, at 10:00 am. Proposals will be accepted from only those offerors who have attended the pre-proposal meeting. Cost range is $800,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. Solicitation packages will be available on or about June 24, 1996. Solicitation packages may be obtained and purchased from Kruse Associates, 130 Central Ave., Jersey City, NJ 07306-2185, Attn: Rick Wagner. Requests for solicitation packages must be accompanied by $100.00 company check or USPS money order made payable to Disbursing Officer, USPS. Payments for solicitation packages are non-refundable. Offerors must submit a Proposal Guarantee with their proposals. The submission of this request is mandatory no proposal will be considered without it. Sealed offers will be received by the U.S. Postal Service, NY Facilities Service Office, 2 Hudson Place - 5th Floor, Hoboken, NJ 07030-5502, prior to but no later than July 18, 1996. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of offers received, the amount of any offer or relative standing of the offers will not be disclosed to ANYONE until time of contract award.
