This directorate intends to issue Invitation for Bid (IFB) F29650-96-B0026 on or about 18 Aug 96. Responses will be due approximately thirty (30) days thereafter. The Government intends to procure this project under full and open (unrestricted) competition. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 with an estimated performance period of 120 calendar days. Contractors bidding as the prime contractor must have a primary Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code of 1711 with a size standard of $7.0M. In general the work consists of installing approximately 4000 linear feet of 8'' diameter water pipe to connect existing Building 760 to Kirtland AFB water system. Please note that funds are not presently available, however, they have been requested. This IFB is based upon your understanding that (1) funds are not available and (2) if funds do not become available no obligation will be incurred by the Government because of this IFB.
