Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to issue a sole source order to

The IRS, has a requirement to create and maintain economic models of
''comparative profit intervals'' of large corporate taxpayers. These
models are built using income/financial data. However, the corporate
income tax data collected is generally not sufficiently detailed nor
current. Acquiring a subscriptions to Compustat PC Plus, Corporate
Text, GLOBAL Vantage, and S&P Stock Reports database would allow
instantaneous access to information which would otherwise require
weeks, or even months, to compile. SPCS provides financial,
statistical, and market information covering several thousand
industrial and non-industrial companies. Ready access to SPEC'S
reference materials is essential for effective examination of large
amous of financial information. Subscriptions are required for the
following groups: The International Examination Groups in Bridgeport,
CT, Stoneham, MA, Garden City, New York, Cincinnati, OH, Edison, NJ,
Philadelphia, PA, Greensboro, NC, Atlanta, GA, Miami, FL, Brooklyn
Center, MN, San Francisco, CA, Laguana Niguel, CA, Denver, CO, and
Western Region Seattle, WA. The Economist Groups in Washington, DC, New
