The Naval Research Laboratory intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis with University of Wisconsin, Department of Physics for a Laboratory Spatial Heterodyne Spectrograph. The Spectrograph shall operate in the wavelength region of 309nm, have a spectral resolution better than 0.01nm across a passband of 3.5nm, and an angular resolution of better than 4 arc min over an angular range of 2.3 degrees. The required delivery is 18 months. Responses to this notice of intent to negotiate with University of Wisconsin should be submitted no later than 45 days from date of synopsis. Submitted responses shall include but are not restricted to the following: The Spectrograph - shall operate in the wavelength region of 309nm, have a spectral resolution better than 0.01nm across a passband of 3.5nm, and an angular resolution of better than 4 arc min over an angular range of 2.3 degrees.
