Werrell Tel: 410-965-9473 The Social Security Administration (SSA) is interested in obtaining sources that have the knowledge, experience, and facilities to provide preventive and remedial maintenance for Mailing Inserter Systems manufactured by Pitney Bowes, two systems located on-site at SSA Headquarters (Baltimore, MD), Model 8300 Micro-processor controlled inserter Serial #2489 and Model 8320 Serial #3696. Twenty systems listed below located at the Wilkes-Barre Data Operations Center (Wilkes-Barre, PA). Model 8318 Microprocessor-controlled Inline Mail Inserters, serial numbers 2307 and 2406, Model 317A Forms Conveyer serial numbers 1693 and 1747, Model 3200 Power Stackers serial numbers 16633 and 16615, model 8353 Burster/Folders serial numbers 3384 and 3443, Model R150 Production Mailers, serial numbers 5116, 5119, 4905 and 4926, Model 1250 Mail Openers serial numbers 8699, 9548, 8700 9411, 9030 ad 9033, Model 6100 Sealing Machine serial number 270073, and Model 3250 Power Stacker serial number 1972. Services shall be performed during regular Government business hours (7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m). The period of performance is expected to be 12 months from date of award with 4 one-year option periods, if exercised. Organizations having the required expertise and capabilities are invited to submit information (original and 1 copy) of appropriate written data discussing such capabilities to Joyce L. The information respondents provide shall pertain to the synopsis only. This is not a request for proposal and no solicitation is being issued at this time. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of the source data received, but any source deemed qualified will be solicited when requests for proposals are issued.
