202-273-4610 The United States Sentencing Commission is seeking a
contractor to develop, produce, and distribute a marketable anti-drug
public service announcement campaign to communicate, through national
television and radio advertisements, the harsh punishments for
committing federal drug crimes. The message will be aimed primarily at
inner-city youth, women, and minorities. The purpose of the
solicitation is to contract for pre-production activities including
creative development, site scouting, and talent selection; production
activities involving production personnel, production equipment,
scripting and on-set supervision, including location shoot and venue;
and post-production activities involving editing, music, scoring,
sweeting, on/off line, distribution and follow-up for airing on
television and radio. The contractor will furnish all necessary labor,
talent, equipment, and materials. Solicitations will be issued on July
15 on a first-come, first-serve basis until supply is exhausted. Only
qualified potential offerors with at least three years experience in
producing and distributing public service announcements will be issued
copies of the solicitation. Requests for solicitation shall be made
