requirement for the management and operation of total pest control for
facilities and family housing maintenance at Fort Wadsworth and
Rosebank in Staten Island, New York and for the Battery Building in New
York. The Contractor must be licensed by the State of New York. This
requirement shall include planning, programming, supervising and
performing all pest control services. The Contractor shall provide all
necessary planning labor, supervision, pesticides, materials,
transportation, tools, equipment, and all incidental and related work
or services to accomplish the required pest control services. The
required pest control functions include facility and family housing
pest control, structure and structural pest control, change of
occupancy, prevention and control of disease vector pests. THIS
PROCUREMENT IS A 100% TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The SIC Code is
7342 and the size standard is $5 million. The period of performance is
base year and one option year. It is anticipated that the Invitation
for Bid DTCG23-96-B-3SGWHW will be issued on or about July 20, 1996.
Bid opening date will be on or about August 29, 1996. The acquisition
will be awarded on a Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Quantity basis
utilizing invitation for bids. Requests for the solicitation must be in
writing. Interested offerors must reference IFB No. DTCG23-96-B-3SGWHW
and include the responding firm's name, address, point of contact
name, telephone number and business status. All responses must be
submitted within 30 calendar days from the date of this notice. Direct
