This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the Format in FAR Subpart 12.6, supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; written bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. II. This solicitation number HQ-96-30 is issued as an invitation for bid (IFB). All references to offers are understood to be ''bid''. III. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular (FAC) 37. IV. The item is being procured as spare parts for the exisiting installed base of equipment which consists of Touch View 555 Single Print Fingerprint Readers. VII. Evaluation: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose bid conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
