ELECTROMAGNETICS FOR SIMULATIONS ENABLING TECHNOLOGY TRANSITION AT
ENHANCED RATES (PACE SETTER). Full announcement of this Air Force
requirement, PRDA 97-27-AAK, was made in the 6 Jun 96 issue of the
Commerce Business Daily. That announcement is amended as follows: The
Contract Negotiator is changed to read David Box, (513) 255-2902. The
due date for receipt of proposals is extended to Tuesday, 23 July 1996,
1500 Hours Eastern Daylight Time. To clarify the issue of presentations
and briefings: The Air Force anticipates quarterly reviews at the
contractor's location, with yearly briefings held in Washington DC.
Regarding LRA-CDENSE: This item was incorrectly identified as being a
CRAY product. This is corrected to reflect ownership of LRA-CDENSE by
Elegant Mathematics of Bothell, Washington. Regarding
government-furnished access to massively parallel computers: Wright
Laboratory's Target Modeling Branch (WL/AACT) will sponsor access to
massively parallel computers for any contractor or subcontractor
granted an award under the PACE SETTER effort. Computer access is
available as part of DoD's High Performance Computing (HPC) initiative.
For information on how to obtain an account after contract award please
refer to the World Wide Web (WWW) at
http://www.wl.wpafb.af.mil/hpc/hpc.html. The application forms are
listed under the ''Obtaining/Maintaining Access to the DoD HPC
Resources'' section. Section 1 of the application form is to be filled
out by WL/AACT ONLY! Section 2, Account Request Information, must be
filled out by each person on the contractor/subcontractor team needing
HPC access. This process cannot be accomplished until after contract
