D -- SOFTWARE SUPPORT DUE 100396 POC LaVonne Walker (202) 512-5102 Software Support - The United States General Accounting Office (GAO) intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with PCDOCS, 25 Burlington Mall Road, Burlington, MA 01803 for acquisition of PCDOCS' Platinum level support service for GAO's installed base of PCDOCS open software for FY 1997 and outyears. This Platinum level support service covers 24x7 telephone support, including holidays, dedicated access lines, technician response time within 1 hour, priority support over standard support calls, dedicated account manager, direct fax of technical bulletins and other important software information, freeaccess to PCDOCS' online forum, and early shipment of maintenance updates via 2nd day delivery. It is believed no other sources other than PCDOCS are capable of providing the Platinum level support services. The period of performance shall be for one (1) base period (date of award through September 30, 1997) withfour (4) option periods (1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001).
