DUE 082896 POC Marty Coffey, (303) 236-9439. The Bureau of Land
Management, (BLM), California, has a requirement for services to
implement the restoration of selected native plant species and amending
mine waste to provide a suitable growing medium so that vegetation may
become established on selected portions of the anthropically disturbed
areas at Atlas Mine. This project requires: 1) the collection of seed
from native plant species and propagation of same for outplanting, 2)
placement of identified soil amendments and other site preparation
(ripping substrate for de-compaction), 3) review previously selected
areas that are appropriate for field revegetation trials, and outplant
and hydroseed those sites, and implement a monitoring plan to
effectively measure the results of the revegetation plots. The Atlas
Mine Site (approximately 435 acres) is located approximately 18 miles
northwest of the city of Coalinga in the southeastern portion of the
Clear Creek Management Area in Fresno County, California. All
responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The
