perform routine Drydock Vessel Maintenance including but not limited to
the following definite items: (1) Preserve Superstructure, (2) Preserve
Weather Decks, (3) Preserve Main Mast, Fore Mast and Stub Mast, (4)
Temporary Logistics. Vessel's homeport for the USCGC Biscayne Bay is
St. Ignace, Michigan for a performance period of 28 days. Vessel's
homepier for the USCGC Katmai Bay is Sault Ste Marie, Nichigan for a
performance period of 28 days. Vessel length for both cutters is 140
Foot Icebreaking Tugs (WTGB). The place of performance is
geographically restricted to the Great Lakes. A charge of $100.00 is
required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable
to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All other referenced
documents are available for viewing at building 400N, Governors Island,
NY. The proposed contract listed here is part of the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and specifications will be
issued on or after 03 Jul 96. All responsible sources may submit a bid
which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. For

Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at
prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts
receivable financing. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms
to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per
contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a
