This is a presolicitation notice for the upgrade of three elevators and a dumbwaiter at the USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Western Regional Research Center in Albany, California. The work consists of all labor, material and equipment necessary for the replacement of a hydraulic freight elevator with a new passenger/service hydraulic elevator, the modernization of one hydraulic freight elevator and one passenger/service geared electric action elevator and the replacement of one dumbwaiter with a new vertical reciprocating conveyor. Invitation for Bid No. 21-91H2-96 will be available on or about July 23, 1996. The estimated cost range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
