Synopsis Number 0271-96--Logistic support for the Kaman Drone Control System (DCS) with options for engineering services for the basic period of performance of 1 Oct 96 thru 30 Sep 97. The contract will have provisions for logistic support and engineering services thru 30 Sep 2001, 12 months logistic support, 5,900 hours R&D engineering support, and 1,000 hours field engineering support for each FY. The contractor shall provide logistic support and engineering services for the Kaman drone control system including improvements and modifications needed to meet requirements of the Government. The contractor shall provide logistic support for the DCS within the area of Fort Bliss, Texas, White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico, Hollowman Air Force Base, New Mexico, and Condrom Army Air Field, WSMR, New Mexico. The contractor shall also be required to provide applicable logistic support services outside of the normal contract place of performance at Post, Camp, and Stations (PCS) in CONUS and OCONUS. The engineering support shall include modifications for integration of the DCS with new target systems, new ground control systems, electronic countermeasures (ECM) systems, infrared countermeasures (IRCM), and correction of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency (RF) problems.
