Smiley, Contracting Officer, (423) 461-7986 Contractor will be required to provide an Orthopedic Surgeon to perform the various sub-speciality procedures required in the speciality field of Orthopedic Surgery on a cost per procedure basis in accordance with the contract specifications. The Orthopedic Surgeon will also be required to attend 10 orthopedic clinics per month. The Orthopedic Surgeon will be required to provide emergency coverage two weekends per month and provide emergency coverage in the absence of the VA Staff Orthopedic Surgeon. The contract will be for an initial 12 months with the option to extend the contract for two additional 12 month periods.
