The American Embassy Guatemala City, Guatemala, requires the operation and management of guard services in order to prevent unauthorized access, protect life, maintain order, deter criminal attacks against employees, dependents and property and terroist acts against all U.S. assets, and prevent damage to Government property. The Contractor shall furnish managerial, administrative and direct labor personnel to accomplish all work as required under this contract. The estimated number of hours of guard service required per year under this contract is 152,018. The expected base period of performance is October 1, 1996 through September 30, 1997, with four (4) additional option years beginning October 1, 1997, and ending September 30,2001. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. Requests to be placed on the solicitation mailing list shall be submitted in writing or by email to roberto.brady@dos.us-state.gov . This is designated as a STREAMLINED solicitation. This RFP may be placed on the Department's electronic bulletin board site accessible via dial-up modem at 703-875-4945. This RFP may be placed upon an internet server site and be available through the World Wide Web.
