a sole source basis with the environmental systems management
institute for follow-on environmental course development. The proposed
work consists of two tasks. The first task will consolidate four
environmental training courses into a single course, reducing the
number of classroom days from 28 days to 18 days. The contractor will
deliver a student course book including instructional modules with
specified desired learning objectives, copies of view foils to be shown
inclass, and appropriate reference material following each module.
Hands-onwork shops will be included throughout the course. Videos,
exercises, slides, and workshops will be used in addition to lecture.
This course will cover subject areas previously included in the five
environmental courses required by defense contract management command
(dcmc) environmental monitors. The second task is development of a
refresher course: The five Day refresher courses will keep the monitors
up to date on new developments and reinforce and review important
subject areas covered in iitial training. A one week course should be
developed to meet the needs of those that have completed initial
training and/or those having environmental supervisoryresponsibilities.
This course will be designed to provide a review of important
environmental subjects and the latest developments, trends, and
policies likely to impact dcmc environmental Personnel. Recent changes
in and proposed modifications to environmental LAW, policies,
procedures, the FAR, and new executive orders, make a refresher course
necessary. Three days of this course will be used to review and two
days to cover policy developments and changes in the LAW, etc. The
contractor will update this material prior to each course at NO charge.
The applicable standard industrial Code (SIC) and size standard is 8748
and 3.5M. Note 22 applies, however, all offers received within 15 days
after date of publication of original synopsis will beconsidered. All
