DESCRIPTION OF WORK--The work includes construction of a single story steel frame and masonry structure complete with concrete footings and floor slabs; concrete tile and built-up bituminous roofing systems; steel stud and wallboard interior partitions; food service equipment; plumbing, fire extinguishing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, electrical lighting and power, and fire alarm systems; and incidental related related work. Exterior site work includes asphalt concrete paving; extension of existing sewer, water, UG electrical, and gas services; landscaping; sprinkler irrigation system, and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is $1 to $5 million. --Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is 300 calendar days.--Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.--This project is unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1542 and the annual size standard is $17 million.--It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business subcontracting effort.--NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. A fee will be charged for all plans and specs.
