Z -- CONCRETE REPAIR WORK FOR BLDG 702 ANTENNA DECK & BLDG 140 REPAIR CONCRETE SECTIONS OF SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT SOL EMV-96-IB-0016. POC JANET L HIGGS, 540/542-2307. The proposed procurement for Concrete repair work located at FEMA, Mt Weather Emergency Assistance Center, 19844 Blue Ridge Mountain Road, Bluemont VA 20135. Work for Bldg 702 consists of inspection of the entire antenna deck by sounding, and tapping removal of concrete from spalled areas and placement of epoxy concrete, epoxy mortar and epoxy grout in areas removed. Waterproofing of the entire repaired concrete antenna deck. Work for Bldg 140, consists of repairs to deteriorated concrete structurers of the Screen Chamber, Parshall Flume, IMOFF Tank, Dosing Siphon and Trickling Filter. Clean with pressure water and sand blasting, repair cracks and deteriorated concrete, with structural concrete patch, seal all exposed surfaces, re-anchor existing handrails. The Government's estimated price range for this work to be done is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Prospective Contractors are required to possess a valid Virginia Contractor's License. The contractor's primary business shall be concrete and shall have been in that same business for five years, to submit a bid in response to this solicitation. Construction will take place at the FEMA Mt Weather Emergency Assistance Center, 19844 Blue Ridge Mountain Road (State Route 601), Bluemont, Loudoun and Clarke Counties, Virginia. A firm-fixed price construction contract is anticipated to be awarded. A Prebid Conference and site visit will be scheduled, the exact date and time will be identified in the Solicitation, Section L. The period of performance will be 240 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The solicitation, to include specifications and drawings, will be made available upon WRITTEN request submitted to FEMA, Mt Weather Emergency Assistance Center, 19844 Blue Ridge Mountain Road, Attn: Janet L Higgs, Bldg 413, Bluemont VA 20135 and a $25.00 non-refundable deposit.
