Z -- US POSTAL SERVICE IS ISSUING REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR REPLACING AIR COMPRESSORS AT PKG LOT #1 AT NEW JERSEY INT'L & BMC, 80 COUNTY RD, JERSEY CITY, NJ 07097-9998 SOL RFP #415046-96-A-0039 DUE 080196. The work consists of providing all labor, material, equipment and services to complete the project including, but not limited to: furnish and install all new equipment including one 150-hp air compressor, dryer, receiver tank, all piping, filters, concrete pads, controls and gauges; fabricate and install new connections to the existing compressed air system; modify the existing floor mounted pipe support rack; and, furnish and install ducted exhaust system including sheet metal ductwork, supports, registers, louvers, motorized dampers, control system and modifications to the existing louvers. OFFEROR MUST BE EXPERIENCE IN MECHANICAL WORK AND PRIMARILY ENGAGED IN THIS LINE FOR A MINIMUM OF FIVE (5) YEARS AND WHO, IN ADDITION, SHALL HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED AT LEAST THREE (3) PROJECTS OF SIMILAR SIZE AND SCOPE. The estimated price range is between $150,000.00 and $200,000.00 with completion within 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
