Z -- TB ISOLATION ROOMS SOL IFB 69D-358-96 DUE 081396 POC Diane Ralston, Contracting Officer - (414) 384-2000, ext. 6998 Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and qualified supervision to convert approximately 600 square feet of existing patient rooms space into a TB Isolation Room located on the 4th Floor (4C North/South) of Building 111, for Project No. 130-96-109 at the VA Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in accordance with drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction of four (4) patient bedrooms, four (4) anterooms, four (4) toilet/bathroom for handicapped, electrical lighting system, electrical power, relocation or removal of existing fire sprinkler system, smoke and alarm system, plumbing, electrical system, nurse call system, AVO system, four (4) HEPA filtration systems connected to Johnson Control units, two (2) pressure watch systems connected to JC control, and two (2) air handling unit systems connected to JC controls. Work involves demolition, mechanical, electrical, utility systems, finish carpentry, alteration, asbestos abatement, installation of walls and doors, ceiling tiles, vinyl floors, interior finishes, painting, and certain other items as shown on the contract drawings.
