All work is at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The work includes but is not limited to, the following: demolition of all steam heat exchangers, steam convectors and their associated piping and fittings and abatement of asbestos containing material on these items, installation of a new hydronic heating system, including heat exchangers, convectors, pumps, make-up systems, and all associated hardware, installation of mechanical room entryways, disinfection and testing of all water lines affected by the work prior to returning them to service, and repair or replacement of all existing landscape work, curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, and pavement disturbed by construction, associated with this project. The project is estimated to be completed by 15 October 1997. The proposed procurement listed herein is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (P.L. 100-656). The applicable SIC Code is 1711, the size standard for which is $7M. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
