PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. Trailer to transport the EOS AM-1 Spacecraft. Trailer will have removeable, double drop center section. Gooseneck with pneumatic left and rear bogie. Airride suspension. Overall maximum length is 51 ft and maximum width is 13 ft 6 in, center section maximum length is 32 ft. Estimated payload for the center section is 43,000 lbs and total estimated payload for the trailer is 50,100 lbs, maximum deflection of loaded trailer is 0.4 in (5 HZ TBR). Loaded trailer must be capable of being transported on the C-5A aircraft and will include a purge gas system and an environmental control system. This solicitation will be issued approx 96 Jul 12.
