258-2904 Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), NASA Dryden Flight Research
Center intends to procure via other than full and open competition
Metraplex spares consisting of 1 each Digital FM Demultiplexer, Model
DFD-08-01 with 8 demodulators, 2 tape speed compensation channels and
2 multiplex inputs. This will be a combined synopsis/solicitation for
commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Request
for Quotes are being requested and no solicitation will beissued. This
solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote No. E-01593D(MXS).
Solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in
effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37. The standard
industrial classification code is 3661. Small business size standard is
1,000 employees. The small business competitiveness demonstration
program is not applicable. Items shall be delivered FOB destination to
NASA Dryden Flight Research Center, Edwards, CA 93523. Delivery date
8/30/96. No other brand shall be considered. The following commercial
items provisions and clauses are applicable: 52.212-1, 52.212-3,
52.212-4, and 52.212-5. DPAS rating is DO-C9. Offers are due NLT 9:00
am PST, July 22, 1996, NASA Dryden, Building 4800, Room D-1044(MXS).
