This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DADA10-96-R-0093 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-36. This acquisition is unrestricted and is issued as Full and Open Competition. SIC is 5047. Small Business size standard is 100 employees. This solicitation is for CLIN 0001, one each Photoderm VL Model: ENE001, Intense Pulser Light System; for Dermatology, Mfg. ESC Medical Systems or equal. This unit shall provide treatment for a wide variety of aesthetic and therapeutic procedures. The minimum requirement for the Government is that the device must be a intense pulsed light system. The essential salient, physical and functional characteristics/capabilities of this unit are: treat vascular lesions, including but not limited to port-wine-stains, hemangiomas, facial, telangiectasias, and leg vascular abnormalities; and treat pigmented lesions, to include removal of benign pigmented lesions and tattoo removal. Delivery is to be made to: Brooke Army Medical Center, Bldg 36000, 3851 Roger Brooke Drive, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234. Delivery is required within 30 days ARO.
