will be a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items
preparedin accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented
with additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a
written solicitation will not be issued. NASA Dryden Flight Research
Center has a requirement for the following items: Item 1- Analog Input
Board, VME, 32 channel 16 bit, Model: VMIVME-3116-102, 2 each; Item 2-
Digital I/O board, VME, TTL, 64 channel, Model:VMIVME-2510B-200, 3
each; Item 3- Analog output VME board, 8 channel 16 bit, Model:
VMIVME-4116-060, 7 each; Item 4- High Voltage discrete output VME
board, 64 bit, Model: VMIVME-2120-282, 3 each. We intend to solicit and
award to VME Microsystems, Inc., 12090 South Memorial Parkway,
Huntsville AL 35803-3308. This solicitation is issued as a Request for
Quotation No. P-6-FE-50073. Solicitation document, incorporated
provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition
Circular 90-37. This procurement is intended to be 100% set-aside for
small business. The standard industrial classification code is 3577.
Small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The small business
competitiveness demonstration program is applicable. Items shall be
delivered FOB Destination to NASA Dryden Flight Research Center,
Edwards, CA 93523. Delivery date 9/1/96. No other brand shall be
considered. The following commercial items provisions and clauses are
applicable: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5. DPAS rating if
DO-C9. Quotes are due NLT 3:00 pm PST, July 19, 1996, NASA Dryden,
Building 4800, Room D-1044 (LLB). Documents related to this procurement
are available over the Internet. The documents are in ASCII format and
reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using
