This requirement is for Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) and Management/Technical Support for the Materials Directorate, Wright Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB OH. Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) F33601-96-R-9007 is planned for release approximately 29 Jul 96. This planned acquisition has been set aside for competition in the 8(a) Program. The primary objective of this effort is to support the management of an integrated hazardous materials, hazardous waste, and pollution prevention program. The secondary objective is to provide management and technical support to the Materials Directorate's five divisions in terms of database administration, graphical generation, administrative processing and metrics computation. A preproposal conference and site visit will be conducted in the late August 1996 time frame; the exact time and place will be given in the DRFP. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
