C -- ARCHITECT/ENGINEER SERVICES DUE 080596 POC Harriet N. Manning, Contracting Officer Architect/Engineer Services to furnish evaluation of existing fire system, working drawings, specifications, estimates, and construction period services for Project #619-96-107, Replace Fire Alarm and Upgrade Fire Safety. Project to include modification or replacement of existing fire system, extending new fire system to outbuildings, replacement of related items (doors, frames, etc.) and all associated work for a complete state of the art fire system. Drawings shall be in autocad release 12 format and shall include 3 1/2'' floppy disc and reproducible mylars. A copy of the specifications shall also be provided on a 3 1/2'' floppy disc in microsoft word format. Construction cost limitation is $394,440.00. 25%, 100%, and final reviews will be required. Working drawings and specifications to start by October 1, 1996, and be completed by May 15, 1997. Bids to be issued by July 1, 1997, and contract awarded by August 31, 1997. Area of consideration is restricted to emerging small business firms having experience in designing fire alarm systems within a 150 mile radius of Montgomery, Alabama. For the purpose of this procurement, an emerging small business is one whose average annual receipts for the past 3 years did not exceed 1.25 million dollars.
