The U.S. Army Garrison Aberdeen Proving Ground has a requirement for the software products for the IBM 3090-200J computer for the period 1 Oct 96 thru 30 Sep 97. IBM 5684-112 FC 0815, VM/ESA; IBM 5648-063, ACF/NCP V7 W/FC 2800, 2801, 2802, 2083, 3900; On-site support for IBM operating/executive systems and IBM proprietary software 5756-030, AIX support family 7015; and 5697-078, ADSM. This is the Federal Termination License Charge (FTLC), a rental cessation offering. The monthly charges continue for 60 months from the date of the first day of charge of the licensed program, and terminate after the 60th monthly payment is made as a schedule ordered item. Delivery is FOB destination Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-5001. This is a notification of intent to acquisition in accordance with FIRMR 201-39.803. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or other wise request a copy of the solicitation. All responses to this synopsis shall include pricing data. If no affirmative written documentation/technical specifications are received within 15 calendar days after publication of this synopsis to the effect that a comparable source is available or that it is more advantageous to the Government than purchased from the ADP schedule, orders will be placed with IBM Corporation, 6705 Rockledge Drive, Bethesda, MD 20817 against their GSA Schedule Contract GS-35F-0001D.
